About My Service Record

One vehicle.
One continuous history.

Vehicle service history should be easier to find, understand and carry forward.

My Service Record brings available service records, MOT information and supporting documents together around a vehicle. Built for participating UK garages and the people who drive, maintain and buy those vehicles.

  • UK drivers
    and garages
  • Traceable
    service entries
  • Controlled
    record access
  • Clearer buying
    decisions

Our mission

A more transparent future
for vehicle service history.

We want to make it easier to keep useful records with a vehicle as it moves between owners and participating garages. Clear information helps people understand what has been recorded, who added it and where there are gaps.

Support
independent garages

A practical place to record work and share useful service information.

Empower
vehicle owners

Access the vehicle records and documents made available to you.

Inform the
used-car market

Help buyers see available history and ask better questions.

Why it exists

A vehicle moves on.
Its paperwork can get left behind.

Paper service books, separate invoices and individual garage systems can leave a vehicle’s history scattered. Changing garage or buying a used car can make those gaps harder to understand.

Available history, honestly presented. My Service Record cannot recreate missing work or guarantee a complete service history. A record shows the information held on the platform, not everything that has ever happened to a vehicle.

How it works

A simple process for everyone.

Garages, vehicle records and owners are connected through the work that has been recorded.

  1. 1

    Garages record the work

Participating garages add service entries, relevant MOT information and supporting documents.

  2. 2

    History stays with the vehicle

Recorded work is attached to the vehicle, so available history can be carried forward.

  3. 3

    Owners access their record

Owners sign in to see the vehicle information they are authorised to access.

Trust, privacy and verification

Know what a record
can tell you.

Entries identify the garage that recorded them, and supported corrections retain an audit history. Account permissions control access to vehicle and personal information.

Traceable entries

A garage account or recorded entry is not independent proof that every item of work was carried out.

Controlled access

Vehicle-history access does not grant access to another owner’s private account details.

Certificate authenticity

Issued service certificates have a verification link and QR code. This checks the certificate record and status, not the physical work or every uploaded PDF.

Our long-term vision

A more connected future for UK vehicle history.

We believe useful service information should be easier to carry forward. As more participating garages and owners contribute, the available record can grow — while the difference between recorded history and missing information stays clear.
